She began her dental education in Hungary, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of Debrecen. She later completed postgraduate dental studies in Tehran and a fellowship in Esthetic Dentistry at the Medical University of Vienna.
Dr Maleki has worked as a general dentist in both Hungary and Iran. After moving to Canada, she completed the NDEB equivalency process and obtained a licence to practise as a general dentist in Ontario. She is also a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association.
